Victoria Station (1982) (single card)

£2.95

Sheffield Victoria Station opened in 1851, and closed to passengers in 1970.  The buildings remained standing into the 1980s.  The Royal Victoria Hotel is now a Holiday Inn.  Sheaf Works, in the bottom right-hand corner, became a pub, and the coal depot to the left was transformed into the Hilton Hotel, overlooking the canal basin that is now Victoria Quays.
